ALL ABOUT…
Stacey Dawson studied jazz at The Guildhall School of Music and graduated with honours. Since then he has quietly made a name for himself around many of the high-end London venues. A very friendly chap, he gets on very well with the clientele and can conjure up most requests. His first love is the jazz standards repertoire, however he can branch out into bossa nova and even re-interpret pop tunes on the fly.
Your options
The Stacey Dawson duo comes in two flavours – sax and guitar or sax and piano. This line-up is perfect for a smaller budget and/or a smaller space. Many restaurants have used this format, as well as wedding ceremonies and corporate events.
The Stacey Dawson trio is one of our most popular jazz bands. The line-up is Stacey with guitar (or piano) and double bass. They specialise in wedding receptions, corporate events, parties, jazz clubs and hotels.
The Stacey Dawson quartet is another popular option for weddings and corporate events. Featuring sax, guitar, double bass and drums, the band plays famous American jazz standards such as Take 5 and Come Fly with Me.
Stacey’s bands have played at some of London’s leading jazz clubs, including the 606 club, the 100 club and Ealing and Brecon Jazz festivals. He has been asked to perform for Tony Blair, Prince Charles at High Grove and Barack Obama at the American Embassy. He has also performed for Maserati and Aston Martin.
